PRE-TEST
The aim of this course is to get a rider to the standard required to pass the Dept of Transport driving test for categories "AM", “A1”, “A2” and “A” licences. This applies to geared and automatic machines.
The course covers:
- An assessment of your current riding skills, followed by a discussion and advice on areas that may need work
- This is followed by plenty of roadwork in the area of your test – covering all aspects of the test.
- Explanation of Test Day format i.e. oral test on the rules of the road, road signs etc., Pre-test procedure/technical checks and marking guidelines
- Advice on machine safety & protective clothing
At the end of this course you should have the theoretical knowledge and practical skill to pass your test and obtain your full licence.
School bike hire with insurance available for tests (Categories “A1”, "A2" and “A”)
Early booking of bikes (Preferrably immediately upon receiving your test date) is advisable, as this is a very sought after course.
Don’t leave your Pre-Test course to the last minute – Give yourself every chance of passing your test first time.
